Matthew 1:23

“A virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and he will be called Immanuel” … “God is with us”.

In sending his Son to earth, God becomes one with us. He carries the burden of our sin, bears our sorrows, shares our joys – he is alongside us in whatever happens in our lives.
