Luke 1:42

“You are the most blessed of all women, and blessed is the child you will bear!”

For Mary, the blessedness is the joy, the privilege of being the mother of the Son of God! But that blessedness would mean watching as her son died on a cross. Saying ‘yes’ to God doesn’t bring total ease but the most fulfilling obedience in the world.
