The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees meets four times a year. The Members of the Board of Trustees are:
The Diocesan President, the two Archdeaconry Vice-Presidents, the Unit Co-ordinators, and the Deanery Leaders.

Those who have the right to attend to speak on their subject if requested, but not to vote are: The Diocesan Secretary, The Diocesan Accountant, the Diocesan Treasurer, Social Policy Officer, World Wide Links Representative, Training Officer, AFIA organiser, IMPC Correspondent, Editor of Link-Up, Mothers’ Union Enterprises Organiser, Hospital Visitors Organiser, the Chaplains, the Press Officers for each Archdeaconry and the Minute Secretary.

The outgoing Diocesan President should not be on the Board of Trustees for a period of one year after the term of office.

The Functions of the Board of Trustees are:

  • To initiate policy
  • To consider resolutions from the Diocesan Council
  • To control the Diocesan Fund

Meetings of the Trustees shall be held at least three times a year. Seven members of the Trustees, exclusive of the Chairman shall form a quorum.
