OUR DIOCESAN SECRETARY

I started in my role as Mothers Union Secretary in January 2019. It’s been fascinating to learn more about the MU and I am really excited to have joined an amazing organization; I look forward to supporting the great work that the Mothers Union does throughout our Island.

At present I am a full-time mum, kept busy by my two daughters, Jorja and Bethany, who I share with my husband, Ben; Mothers Union Chaplain and Chaplain to the Bishop of Sodor and Man. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to watch our children grow and to explore this beautiful Island as they learn about the world around them.

My father was in the British Army so I spent part of my childhood growing up in Cyprus and Germany before settling in Devon where I met Ben. We later spent time in Bolton before moving to the Island in November 2017.

I am a qualified Contact Lens Optician which is a job that I thoroughly enjoyed and a role I hope to return to when the girls are a little older; until then my spare time is filled with a new found passion for crochet, currently making all sorts of toys and animals.

As a family we visit many different churches across the Diocese due to Ben’s role as Bishop’s Chaplain, It would be lovely to meet lots of MU members so please do come and say hello if you see me.

 Danni Bradshaw.
