Everyone has different demands on their time. Membership offers the perfect opportunity to support and pray for Mothers’ Union and keep up to date with our latest work and campaigns, without having to commit to regular local meetings. However there are groups within the Norwich and Waveney area which meet monthly , and would welcome you, should you wish to participate in a group meeting.
Our members are ordinary people like you, they are not all mothers and not all female, neither are they all married. They may be of other Christian denominations, they may be Clergy. Whoever they are and however they support and volunteer within Mothers’ Union, they all have in common a commitment to prayer, to sharing the Christian faith and to the stability of marriage and family life.
Your input can be as much or as little as you wish, you may like to
- Join the Emergency Prayer Chain
- Take part in the monthly prayers at the Cathedral
- Help with fundraising
- Knit or sew for our hospital work
- Help with campaigns
- Volunteers
