Mothers’ Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide. Action & Outreach pursues this through practical project work in Dioceses, parishes, and the general community both in the United Kingdom and across the world. There are many times when Mothers’ Union members can reach out to others as individuals but often the best way of giving support to those in need is through established and structured projects. Projects can range from very simple, small scale work to large scale initiatives which may involve not only Mothers’ Union members but other partners in the Diocese or parish. Currently, projects cover “Away from it All” holidays, Parenting, Marriage Support, Prisons, Refugee Support, Baby Project, Women’s Aid and Worldwide Development work.
