OUR DIOCESAN CHAPLAIN

I am delighted to serve as Chaplain to the Mothers Union on the Isle of Man. I am married to Danni, who is the MU Secretary and we have two young daughters, Jorja and Bethany. We moved to the Island in November 2017 when I was appointed Chaplain to the Bishop of Sodor and Man and we have happily settled into the Manx way of life.

Prior to coming to the Isle of Man I served in the Diocese of Manchester, assisting in the parish of St Matthew’s, Little Lever, Bolton, as well as managing a Christian homeless shelter in Rochdale. I was ordained in 2013 in the Diocese of Exeter where I also served by curacy.

I am a member of the Society of the Resurrection, a group that maintains close links with the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield, where I trained for ministry. I am also a deacon associate at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.

I have a passionate interest in Zimbabwe and I am currently studying for my Masters in African Christianity from Liverpool Hope University.

In my spare time I am keen Bolton Wanderers fan and try to attend as many games as possible.

Please do get in touch as I am here to serve and help the Mothers Union as your chaplain.

Praised be Christ.

Fr Ben Bradshaw.
