Mother’s Union on the Isle of Man is involved in many different different ways with families.
Every weekend 2 members of Mothers’ Union go to the prison to be in the visiting hall at visiting time to play with any children or help them choose toys, games or books to take back to those they are visiting. If you think you might like to volunteer on the creche rota, going to the prison about once in 3 months please contact Helen on croeso.parry@googlemail.com
We are pleased to report that our card making session on the women’s wing is now happening fortnightly. It is very popular with the women and if anyone has any card making materials lurking in a cupboard that they would like to find a good home for please contact Maureen on 801621 we would be very glad to use them. A big thank you to everyone who already has given us any. Or if you would like to volunteer to go into the prison with us to make cards on the women’s wing please get in touch with Maureen on 801621.
