ANNUAL MEETING 19th June 2018  Raising a child with a disability is particularly hard for parents and if you are affected by hearing loss you will be interested to learn that we will have a speaker on Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language at the annual meeting.
This has been inspired by the Oscar winning short film The Silent Child which centres around a profoundly deaf four – year old girl named Libby who is born into a middle-class family and lives in a world of silence until a caring social worker teaches her the gift of communication.

UNA Canterbury welcomes everyone to join in commemorating the United Nations’ 70th Anniversary with their 34th annual UN Service. MU will be represented and will parade our Diocesan banner

2015 PILGRIMAGE Canterbury to Rochester Cathedral –  continuing in the footsteps of St. Augustine  9th and 10th May 2015  All MU members are welcome to join us for one, both or part of a day.

 Saturday  Meet at Canterbury Cathedral.Take train from Canterbury East to Selling and walk across country in westerly direction to Wormshill via Selling Church, Sheldwich Church, Eastling (lunch stop at church) and Wichling using footpaths and tracks.

Sunday    After Holy Communion Service leave Wormshill. Pick up Pilgrims Way and also using North Downs Way walk to Rochester Cathedral.

 

Tuesday 17th March   Diocesan Council, St Paul’s Church Canterbury 10.15am – 1.00pm with celebration of our new Wave of Prayer links in Nigeria, South Sudan and Tanzania. Guest speaker Marion Pope and the new Inspired ideas to promote your Mother’s Union in the community.
