Resources

We aim to support the current members and encourage others to join the Mothers’ Union. In this diocese we:

  • Publish the diocesan magazine, Teulu Mair.
  • Produce The MU Clergy email. Every priest in the Diocese of Bangor receives a monthly bilingual email in the Clergy Mailing, from the diocesan Mothers’ Union, keeping them up to date on all MU activities in Bangor Diocese, the UK and overseas.
  • Take care of the diocesan members. Every member receives letters or emails containing diocesan news, information and forthcoming events, and receives a card at Easter and Christmas.
  • Distribute Families Worldwide, to every member. Besides news from the UK & overseas the magazine contains a daily Prayer Diary.

Lord, empowered by your love and supporting each other, we reach out as your hands around the world today.

  • Bangor Diocese

The diocese of Bangor covers the whole of the north-western quarter of Wales and is roughly co-terminous with the ancient kingdom of Gwynedd.

It extends from the port of Holyhead in the north to the rural market town of Llanidloes in the south; from the holy island of Bardsey in the west to Llandudno in the east, along the North Wales coastal strip; behind which lies Snowdonia and the most mountainous areas of Wales.
